Dr. Rajeev Ranjan (Ex. Asst. Professor)
Dr. Rajeev Ranjan is a highly skilled and experienced individual with a strong background in teaching and research. He is an expert in the field of Biology and has over 23 years of experience teaching for competitive exams like NEET, CSIR-NET/JRF and College Students. He has cleared all the major research based competitive exams like CSIR-NET/JRF, GATE, and awarded with 2 years of junior research fellowship and senior research fellowship for conducting research in cancer biology. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Preparation of Anti-Inflammatory and Anti-Cancer Medicine from Cell Signaling and Molecular Immunology Laboratory.
Dr. Rajeev has extensive experience in cell culture technologies. His research focuses on the in vitro and in vivo effects of various compounds on cell viability, antibacterial activity, antioxidant activity, and hepatoprotective effects. He has published research in peer-reviewed journals and has a strong background in anatomical and histological examinations.
In addition to his expertise in cell culture technologies, Dr. Rajeev is also experienced in working with various strains of mice and rats. He is skilled in techniques for obtaining murine macrophages from different tissues such as peritoneum, spleen, and bone marrow. He is also proficient in intraperitoneal and intramuscular drug administration and time and dose kinetic studies, induction of inflammation by adjuvants, xenografting tumors in mice, and treatment of xenografted tumor-bearing mice for in vivo studies.
Dr. Rajeev is also experienced in the process of immunization and antibody production in mice, as well as analyzing blood serum hematological and biochemical parameters. He is skilled in phytochemical analysis and extraction of compounds with medicinal value, and proficient in microscopy.
Now he manages and delivers lectures to Biology students, who are preparing for NEET, CSIR-NET/JRF and other Competitive Examinations. He also advises students on course and academic matters, as well as helps them make career decisions.
